Softbank and Sharp are releasing the mid-ranger with a 21MP rear camera, the Sharp Aquos Crystal Y2

The Japanese mobile giant Sharp is launching a new decent mid-ranger called Sharp Aquos Crystal Y2. The smartphone will be available to buy from the local carrier SoftBank starting 5th of February. The newcomer sports a slick design with ultra-thin (almost missing) side bezels. The panel of the new smartphone is waterproof and dust-proof. Aquos Crystal Y2 sports a 5.2-inch S-CD Silicon LCD screen. Under the hood of the phone is ticking a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The new addition of Sharp works with 2GB RAM. In terms of storage, the smartphone is provided with 16GB of internal memory.

Sharp Aquos Crystal Y2 to be launched officially by SoftBank

Aquos Crystal Y2 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. One of the most impressive features of the device is its main camera on the back with 21MP resolution and CMOS sensor. The front-facing camera is also decent with 8MP resolution. The connectivity features equipped with the smartphone include support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, TV service support and 4G LTE Cat.4. The juicepack of the handset is a 2030mAh battery. Aquos Crystal Y2 is a single-SIM model. The price of the mid-ranger is yet to be revealed. It will be available in different colors, like turquoise, pink (4 options), black and white.
