Google Play Store and T-Mobile started selling the Nexus 9 LTE tablet
One of the most anticipated tablets this year was the new generation full-sized tablet of the Google’s line Nexus. HTC Nexus 9 made by the Taiwanese manufacturer and Google was launched weeks ago. Until recently the LTE-enabled variant of the tablet was not available on the US market. The first carrier that officially released Nexus 9 LTE is T-Mobile.
The mobile operator offers the slate for $0 down payment and 24 monthly payments of $24.99. Another option for buying the tablet is by paying the full retail price of $599.76. T-Mobile offers additional options for its subscribers to the Simple Choice plan to get the Nexus 9 LTE by paying extra $10 each month. The HTC Nexus 9 features a 8.9-inch display, 1536 x 2048p resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top of it. It is one of the first devices that run on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box. The processor working under the hood of the tablet is dual-core Denver clocked at 2.3GHz with Nvidia Tegra K1 chip with 2GB RAM.
The LTE-enabled slate has 32GB memory on board and no slot for microSD cards. It is packed with 8MP rear camera and 1.6MP front camera. It is powered by a 6700mAh battery in its gut. The tablet supports Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, NFC and 4G LTE. Nexus 9 LTE comes in black, sand and white colors. Just hours after T-Mobile announced the launching of the model, Google Play Store began selling the tablet as well. It costs $599 unlocked. The shipping date for the HTC Nexus 9 LTE is 19th of December. The carrier AT&T has confirmed that it offers $100 bill credit to customers who buy the slate from Google Play Store and then sign two-year contract with the operator.
