LG unveiled the affordable LG G Pad III 8.0

LG introduced a new slate for the fans of affordable basic tablets running on Android. Meet the LG G Pad III 8.0. It sports an 8-inch glass with a resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. If the name of the device sounds familiar to you, it is because the tablet is the successor of the G Pad II 8.0 released last year. The platform pre-installed on the model is Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The new tablet of LG works with octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz in a configuration with 2GB RAM. The assured amount of storage by default is 32GB. The G Pad III 8.0 has a microSD slot for easy expansion of the memory. The rear camera of the device is on the back. It is an 8MP primary camera while the front-facing snapper is with 5MP resolution. It is important to mention that the tablet is equipped with a 4800mAh cell under the hood.

Another good news for users of LG G Pad III 8.0 is the full-size USB 2.0 port that is compatible with a lot of different devices, such as a keyboard, a mouse and etc. The connectivity features of the affordable slate include also Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Micro USB and Wi-Fi.  The tablet is up-for-grabs in South Korea and it will be available for purchase in Canada as well. The price for the G Pad III 8.0 off-contract is around $277. Any takers?
