The world-famous online retailer, Amazon officially introduced the newest tablet of the Fire HD series dubbed Amazon Fire HD 10. The special about the slate are its improved panel made of aluminum and the provided amount of memory on board. As Amazon describes the slate – it is the largest and the thinnest model of the series.

The Fire HD 10 comes with a 10.1-inch HD screen. It is powered by a quad-core processor with MediaTek chip ticking at 1.5GHz. In terms of RAM, the tablet features 1GB. The storage is in three options – 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. MicroSD cards are supported for storage expansion. On the back of the device lies a 5MP HD camera. It is paired with a 720p snapper on the front side.

The connectivity capabilities of the slate include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 2.0 and GPS. The battery of the Amazon Fire HD 10 provides up to 8 hours battery life in normal use. The colors available for the new addition of Amazon are silver aluminum, white and black.
