ZTE Blade S6 running on Android 5.0 Lollipop goes official
The budget smartphones packed with abundance of features and excellent capabilities are becoming more and more popular, especially on the developing markets (who doesn’t like a nice deal for a decent phone?). Meizu has just announced its budget smartphone Meizu m1. It seems that ZTE has something new to offer as well. The newly revealed device is dubbed ZTE Blade S6. It is armed with a 5-inch laminated screen with HD resolution.
The silicon integrated under the hood of the Blade S6 is octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 with 64-bit. It is paired with 2GB RAM. Users will find provided 16GB storage in the phone accompanied by a microSD slot. One of the main advantages of the new handset is the latest upgrade of the platform, Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The duo of cameras integrated in the device includes a 13MP sensor as rear camera and a 5MP (wide-angle) snapper located on front. It has Hi-Fi sound and works with a dedicated audio processor. The ZTE Blade S6 stands out with a slick design and elegant silhouette. The connectivity features supported by the handset include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, LTE and 3G. ZTE Blade S6 will be available in the major online retailer AliExpress on 10th of February at price of around $250. The phone will be released internationally on 27th of February.
