The Chinese manufacturer ZTE took the wraps off the flagship phablet ZTE Axon MAX
The new Axon line of smartphones of ZTE has welcomed a new addition with an impressive size the display of 6-inches at diagonal. The phablet is named ZTE Axon MAX. It is armed with a 6.0-inch AMOLED screen, 1080p. The large-sized smartphone is “dressed” in an elegant panel made of aircraft-grade aluminum-titanium alloy. The flagship sports dimensions of: 160 x 80 x 7.5mm, and weighs 188 grams.
Axon MAX is powered by an octa-core processor with Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chip and 3GB RAM. By default users will enjoy 32GB provided storage in the device. If users need more memory, the can use microSD cards to expand the assured storage. The phablet runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS customized with MiFavor 3.5 UI.
The new smartphone is provided with a 16MP primary camera positioned on the back side with LED flash and other features like auto-focus and phase-detection. The secondary camera will deliver excellent performance for video calls and selfies. It is a 13MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The backplate hosts the fingerprint sensor of the device as well. The battery of ZTE Axon MAX corresponds to its size. It works with a 4140mAh cell in its gut. The connectivity capabilities of the phablet include Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G, Bluetooth and 4G LTE. It supports Quick Charge 2.0.
The smartphone is dual-SIM. ZTE Axon MAX comes in golden color of the shell. It costs Yuan 2799 (around $431) retail price. It is expected to land on the shelved of retails and carriers in China next month. Earlier this year the Chinese manufacturer launched Axon Elite, Axon Pro, Axon Lux and Axon mini. Some of the models are available in different countries around the globe. ZTE has not revealed its plans for the availability of the ZTE Axon MAX yet. All other devices except the Axon mini sport 5.5-inch displays.
