ZTE introduced the high-end ZTE Axon in China accompanied by Axon Lux, Axon Mini and Axon Watch
ZTE Axon made its official debut last week. Today, the company officially unveiled it in China as well. The announcement of the flagship is rather special, because it includes three more devices of the series Axon – two smartphones and a smartwatch.
The new version of ZTE Axon for the Chinese market sports a fingerprint sensor that is located on the rear panel of the device. The panel of the smartphone is enriched with leather-like finish on the bottom and the top. Other than those differences, the ZTE Axon that will be released in China is equipped with the same specs and features as the international version.
ZTE Axon Lux is a more advanced variant of the model. It boasts a 5.5-inch Quad HD display. It comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal memory that can be expanded. The key features of the Axon Lux include a fingerprint scanner, voice unlock and eye scanner. All of them can be used for unlocking the device, which was pointed ZTE as a special advantage of the flagship. The rest of the specs of ZTE Axon Lux are the same as the original ZTE Axon. The price of the more high-end flagship is around $625 while the regular smartphone will be available at $435.
The duo new smartphones is accompanied by a mini version of the ZTE Axon. It comes with a 5.2-inch AMOLED screen. ZTE did not reveal many details about the ZTE Axon Mini. It is expected to go for sells later this year.
ZTE took the wraps off the smartwatch ZTE Axon Watch. It is powered by Tencent OS. The wearable tech features a 1.4-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 400 x 400p. It works with 512MB RAM and boasts 4GB storage. Axon Watch is packed with a heart-rate monitor. It supports Bluetooth and GPS. ZTE is launching the smartwatch in China.
