Yu Yutopia is revealed by Micromax, costs $375
Micromax officially unveiled Yu Yutopia in India. The premium smartphone stands-out with a slick panel made of magnesium and aluminum alloy. It is attractive and tougher than most of the handsets released today. The Yu Yutopia is outfitted with a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440p and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 on top. The pixel density of the screen is 565ppi.
On the inside the new flagship fascinates with a powerful hardware configuration. It boasts an octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz and Snapdragon 810 chipset. The configuration includes also 4GB RAM and Adreno 430 GPU. The smartphone is announced with 32GB storage out-of-the-box. The device supports microSD cards for expansion with up to 128GB. The OS running on the phone is Cyanogen 12.1 based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
The primary camera of Yu Yutopia of Micromax is a 21MP sensor on the back of the device. It is an ExmorRS IMX230 sensor with PDAF for quick focusing and OIS even for the video. The secondary camera is also impressive. It is an 8MP snapper on the front side with 86 degree wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. The new advanced smartphone works with a 3000mAh battery. Quick charging is supported by the device. The battery can be recharged from 0% to 60% for just 30min.
The connectivity features supported by the device include Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3G and 4G LTE. Pre-orders for the Yu Yutopia are already available at price of INR 24999 ($375). The shipping begins on 26th of December. Customers will receive a free case for the smartphone and an earphone from House of Marley. The handset is available in silver color.
