The new smartphone with two displays YotaPhone 2 goes for sells in China
One of the most interesting smartphones on the market today is the YotaPhone 2 packed with two screens. On the face side of the device lies a 5-inch AMOLED screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection while on the rear panel is provided e-paper display with 960 x 540p resolution. Back in December 2014 we shared the news that YotaPhone 2 is getting ready to land on more than 20 markets across the world.
Recently the company that is manufacturing the smartphone, Yota Devices launched the crowdfunding campaign on indiegogo for bringing the model in the States. While this event is going on, the YotaPhone 2 is getting released in China. The launching of the extraordinary smartphone in the country is happening thanks to the teaming up of Yota Devices and the local company JieLan.
The price of the handset is CNY 4888 (around $788). Pre-orders have begun, so if you are planning on buying the smartphone, you can place your order right away. Some of the extra features that are packed in YotaPhone 2 in China include support for local LTE bands as well as pre-installed applications for different local social networks including WeChat and the famous Weibo.
