YotaPhone 2 is officially released
Last month we shared the rumors that the new smartphone with two displays the YotaPhone 2 will land on markets across Europe on 3rd of December. It was officially presented in February this year during the MWC event. Right on time the handset was officially launched and it is already up-for-grabs in 20 countries in Europe. It is getting released in countries in the Middle East and CIS. In the next weeks the YotaPhone 2 will hit the markets in Hong Kong, then China and Taiwan and in different counties across Asia. The flagship is scheduled for release in Latin America, Canada and the US in the beginning of the next year.
The specs of YotaPhone 2 include two screens on the back and the frond side of the device. On the face panel is set a 5-inch AMOLED display, 1080p and 441ppi pixel density. On the back panel is located a 4.7-inch screen e-ink with 235ppi pixel density and 960 x 540p resolution. The displays are protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip with quad-core CPU. It has 2GB RAM and native memory of 32GB. YotaPhone 2 arrives with Android 4.4 KitKat running on it. On the rear panel above the e-ink display is set an 8MP camera. On the front side lies a 2.1MP sensor.
The connectivity possibilities of the smartphone include Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth and Cat.4 LTE. The phone works with a 2500mAh cell that can be charged wirelessly. How do you like the new flagship of the Russian manufacturer?
