Xolo Q1001 is the newest affordable smartphone of the company
The Indian manufacturer Xolo officially presented the affordable Xolo Q1001 in its home country. The smartphone is packed pretty much with what you can expect for a phone in this category. It is announced with a 5-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 854 x 480p. It is armored with a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.3GHz with Mediatek MT6582 chip with 512MB RAM. The storage by default in Xolo Q1001 is just 4GB and it comes with a slot for microSD cards that enables the much needed expansion of memory.
The platform running on the low-end device is Android 4.4 KitKat OS. It might be a bit outdated but keep in mind that the smartphone is very affordable, so just expect the basic capabilities for an Android-powered model. The 5MP camera on the back is provided with LED flash. There is a VGA snapper on the side with the display that works well for video calls and chats. Xolo Q1001 arrives with a 2000mAh battery working in its gut. The device supports 3G. It is a dual-SIM smartphone. Xolo is releasing the new entry-level handset at price of INR 6199 (equal to $100). Overall it seems that Xolo Q1001 is a nice addition to the rich palette of budget smartphones of the Indian manufacturer, don’t you think?
