Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is the new phablet of Xiaomi packed with a 5300mAh battery
A new rather large smartphone (to say the least) by Xiaomi is entering the tech arena. Let’s welcome officially the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 handset with the impressive size of the display of 6.44-inch. What do we know of the new phablet? It sports a 6.44-inch screen, Full HD resolution.
Under the hood of the large smartphone is tucked a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor in a configuration with 4GB RAM. Users have at their disposal either 64GB or 128GB of storage by default. In both models the storage is expandable via microSD cards. The software pre-installed on the plus size phone is Android 7.1 Nougat customized by Xiaomi.
The back panel of the phablet hosts a fingerprint reader and the primary camera – a Sony IMX386 sensor with 12MP resolution and dual tone flash. The front-facing camera for selfies is with 5MP resolution and f/2.0 aperture. The Mi Max 2 is a dual-SIM device. In terms of connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 4G LTE. Among the extra capabilities of the phablet is the support for Quick Charge 3.0. Speaking of battery, the newcomer works with a cell with a capacity of 5300mAh which assures plenty of time for work and fun with the device.
Xiaomi is releasing the phablet for $247 unlocked for the 64GB model and $291 for the variant with 128GB of storage.
