New Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 goes official in China
It wasn’t long ago when the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi presented the phablet with decent specs and capabilities, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. Two months since the debut of the large-sized smartphone, the company is revealing a higher-end version of the device. The new Redmi Note 3 fascinates with the same premium design as its sibling. It is outfitted with a full-metal panel. The specs of the new phablet are slightly more advanced than the original handset.
For example, it is powered by a hexa-core processor with Snapdragon 650 chip clocked at 1.8GHz. Just for a comparison, the original Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 works with MediaTek Helio X10 chip under the hood. The camera of the new device is improved from 13MP to 16MP with phase detection autofocus and f2.0 aperture. The rest of the specs are pretty much the same features and capabilities equipped with the original model. It is outfitted with a 5.5-inch screen, 1080p resolution. The model with 2GB RAM arrives with 16GB of storage on board, while the version with 3GB RAM is provided with 32GB of internal memory. There is a 4050mAh battery that provides the juice for Redmi Note 3.
In terms of connectivity capabilities, the new phablet supports VoLTE compatible with all the mobile operators in China. It supports 4G+ as well. Just like its sibling, the new smartphone of Xiaomi is provided with a fingerprint sensor. The price of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 16GB is RMB 999 (around $151). The costs for the 32GB variant are not announced yet. The smartphone is getting launched in China. Later on it will be released in India.
