Onda took the wraps off the 8-incher Onda V820W CH powered by Windows 10
The Chinese manufacturer of tablets Onda has released a new slate. It is named Onda V820W CH and it costs just $115 contract-free. The specs of the device include an 8-inch IPS screen, 800 x 1280p resolution. In its gut is integrated a quad-core processor 1.84GHz with Intel Atom X5 Z8300 chip.
The tablet works with 2GB RAM and boasts 32GB internal memory out-of-the-box. There is a dedicated slot for microSD cards for users who prefer to add more memory. On the front panel lies a 2MP camera. The platform running on the Onda V820W CH is Windows 10 pre-installed. The connectivity features supported by the device are Bluetooth and Wi-Fi along with HDMI output. The tablet is getting released just days before Microsoft launches the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 slate scheduled for 6th of October.
There is no doubt that the 8-incher Onda V820W CH is a decent device for this price. The expectations suggest that the tablet will be released to different markets worldwide, however it is more likely that it will be rebranded. It has an elegant design with a case made of plastic. The 8-inch size of the display is promising a fulfilling user experience with the software.
