The mid-ranger Samsung Galaxy Core Prime is coming to Verizon Wireless
Samsung Galaxy Core Prime is one of the newest additions of the Korean manufacturer announced in the end of 2014. The handset is already available for purchase across Europe. The latest news about the smartphone is that it is coming to Verizon. The US carrier will release Galaxy Core Prime on 26th of February. Customers will be able to buy it from the online store right away.
The mid-ranger is landing on the shelves of the ordinary stores of Verizon Wireless on 5th of March. The specs of the Galaxy Core Prime consist of a 4.5-inch screen, 480 x 800p resolution. In its belly there is a quad-core CPU 1.2GHz and 1GB RAM. It is endowed with 8GB storage and a slot for microSD cards. The software that operates the hardware of the smartphone is Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box which soon will be updated with Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The cameras that are integrated in the device are a 5MP rear sensor and a 2MP camera on front. It is 4G LTE-enabled. The battery tuck in the handset is with a capacity of 2000mAh. Verizon will offer the Galaxy Core Prime for $29.99 tied with two-year commitment. Another option for buying the phone is with Verizon Edge – $0 down payment and two years of $8 per month.
