One of the biggest mobile operators in the US, Verizon Wireless is launching a new tablet especially designed for kids, GizmoTab. It is purposed for children at age between 3 and 8 years old. Needless to say the slate is well endowed with all kinds of games and apps for fun time for the kids. There are numerous educational applications that encourage children’s development and imagination. In terms of specs, the GizmoTab is packed with an 8-inch HD screen. Here is the place to mention that the whole tablet is protected with removable bumper case for better resistance on hits and drops.

The processor integrated in the slate is octa-core Snapdragon 617 chip with 3GB RAM. The tablet arrives with 16GB internal storage by default. It supports expansion of the memory via microSD cards. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. On the rear side of the slate is provided an 8MP camera while on the front panel is located a 5MP snapper. The GizmoTab packs a large battery with a capacity of 5100mAh. It supports 4G LTE connectivity. The slate offers unlimited access to 300 premium learning apps, such as DreamWorks Animation, the Jim Henson Company, the Crayola and  Hasbro to name a few.
