A new leak from FCC reveals more about the Samsung Z3 powered by Tizen OS
It has been a while since Samsung launched the first Tizen OS-powered smartphone, Samsung Z1. The entry-level device enjoyed a success in different countries across Asia. Lately we hear more and more gossips and speculations about the successor of the Samsung Z1. Rumors have it that the new smartphone running on Tizen OS out-of-the-box will bear the name Samsung Z3.
The latest news about the device reveals that it has just been certified by FCC in the US. This is a key step for the launching of the smartphone in the States. It is still unknown when Samsung will present Samsung Z3. The expectations suggest that it might debut at the Tizen Developer Conference between 17th and 18th of September in China. Another logical option for the Korean manufacturer is to release it along with the launching of the newly announced Samsung Gear 2 Tizen smartwatch. It is scheduled for the beginning of next month.
Specs-wise, Samsung Z3 is outfitted with a 5-inch display with 720p resolution. It works with Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chip with 64-bit architecture.
