Render photos of the upcoming phablet Sony Xperia C6 surfaced on the internet
Sony will soon expand the Xperia C line of smartphones with a new phablet. The successor of Sony Xperia C5 Ultra is named Sony Xperia C6 according to rumors. Alleged render photos of the device recently surfaced on the internet revealing an elegant design with very narrow side bezels. The leakster @Onleaks shared a render image of the Xperia C6 that is based on factory schematics. A few days before the leak, the phablet was spotted in hands on pictures. There will be three color variants of the large-sized smartphone – rose gold, white and grey. The expectations for the display of the upcoming Xperia C6 suggest that it might be the same size as the Xperia C5 Ultra or smaller, 6-inch or 5.5-inch, Full HD resolution.
The processor that will power the phablet is octa-core with MediaTek Helio P10 chip. The amount of RAM included in the device will be either 2GB or 3GB. Rumors have it that the new phablet of Sony will feature a 20MP primary rear camera. It is outfitted with a metal frame and a stylish design with just 0.8mm thin side bezels. The press-conference of SONY at MWC 2016 in Barcelona is scheduled for 22nd of February. Hopefully the company will reveal the phablet at the event. The predecessor of the Xperia C6, the Xperia C5 Ultra debuted last summer. We will wait and see whether the company will wait a few more months for the revealing of the new phablet or it will bring it to Barcelona for MWC 2016. Stay tuned.
