Gionee V381 is spotted in recent leaks from TENAA and GFXBench
Gionee is one of the most popular manufacturers in China, known for its mid-rangers and ultra-slim smartphones with appealing designs. A recent leak from the database of TENAA in China gives the clue for a new handset coming from the company. The device was also spotted in the database of GFXBench benchmark tests. Gionee V381 has 4.6-inch display (although the database of TENAA includes a 5-inch screen) with a resolution of 540 x 960p.
It delivers a very good performance of the quad-core processor provided in its gut with MediaTek MT6752 chipset ticking at 1.3GHz. The configuration includes Mali-T760 GPU. Gionee V381 has 1GB RAM and 8GB native storage. The device arrives with a microSD slot integrated in it for expansion of the provided memory by default.
The pair of cameras that are a rear snapper with 12MP resolution, LED flash, BSI sensor and the capabilities to record Full HD 1080p video, along with a front-facing camera with 2MP. Gionee V381 supports 4G LTE connectivity. Software-wise the upcoming handset runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS. It is packed with a 4200mAh cell under the hood. The debut date and the availability of the Gionee V381 remain a mystery. The leaks suggest that we can expect to see the device go official sooner than later.
