Alcatel OneTouch Idol 4 and Idol 4S showed up in a leak ahead of announcement
What do you expect from Alcatel at the upcoming MWC 2016? A new leak has just spilled the beans about two upcoming smartphones of the company that might be presented at the event. The source of the link is a support site of Alcatel where the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 4 and Alcatel OneTouch Idol 4S were listed with the full sheets of the specs.
Alcatel OneTouch Idol 4 (picture above) is packed with a 5.2-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1080p. The processor working in the device is with eight cores coupled with either 2GB or 3GB RAM. The storage included in the handset is expandable with 16GB provided by default. OneTouch Idol 4 is powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Cameras-wise, the mid-ranger is coming with a 13MP sensor on the back and an 8MP camera on the front side. It is equipped with a 2610mAh cell.
Alcatel OneTouch Idol 4S (picture at the bottom) fascinates with a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen with QHD resolution. It works with an octa-core processor (1.8GHz + 1.4GHz) and 3GB RAM. On board are provided 32GB storage that can be expanded via microSD cards. OneTouch Idol 4S is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. It features a 16MP camera on the rear panel and an 8MP secondary camera for selfies. The connectivity possibilities of the model include support for VoLTE. It has a 3000mAh cell under the hood.
It is still unknown when Alcatel will decide to present the new smartphones to the audience. The expectations suggest that they will debut at MWC 2016. Stay tuned.
