BLU Vivo Air LTE is announced, sports a 5.1mm slim panel
We’ve just shared the news about the impressive flagship BLU Pure XL with high-end specs, metal unibody and awesome cameras. The Miami-based company BLU revealed another smartphone along with the Pure XL. BLU Vivo Air LTE is much smaller in size and boasts more modest capabilities compared to its big brother. The razor-slim handset is dressed in a 5.1mm thick panel and aluminum frame. It weighs only 97 grams. The company proudly pointed that it is the thinnest LTE-enabled smartphone in the States.
The new addition to the Vivo line is actually the upgraded variant of the BLU Vivo Air that debuted at the beginning of the year. The Super AMOLED screen of the Vivo Air LTE is 4.8-inch in diagonal and 720p resolution. The processor of the handset is with Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chip instead of the Mediatek MT6592 packed in the original device. It works with 2GB RAM and boasts 16GB storage.
Another improvement in the BLU Vivo Air LTE is the software – it runs on Android Lollipop out-of-the-box while its predecessor is powered by Android 4.4 KitKat. The set of cameras that are equipped with the new smartphone includes an 8MP rear sensor and a 5MP secondary camera. It works with a 2050mAh cell. The handset is compatible with some of the bands of T-Mobile and AT&T. BLU Vivo Air LTE is already available for pre-orders from Amazon at a price of $199 without a commitment. The shipping is scheduled for 22nd of September. Colors that adorn the device are white and black.
