New renders of the alleged smartphone Nokia C1 surfaced on the internet
The Finnish manufacturer Nokia has been off the smartphones market for some time now. The company released its first tablet running on Android soon after it sold its smartphone business to Microsoft. This summer it was confirmed by the Nokia CEO Rajeev Suri that Nokia is preparing for come back to the phone’s arena in 2016.
A leak from Weibo in China revealed render photos of the alleged upcoming smartphone with a work-name Nokia C1. So far a few leaks with photos and a video of unannounced Nokia-branded devices appeared on the web. The specs of Nokia C1 remain a mystery for now. The devices depicted on the renders run on Android and Windows 10 Mobile.
There is a good chance that Nokia will decide to release two variants of the smartphone powered by the two platforms. Needless to say the Finnish manufacturer is not spilling the beans about the upcoming smartphone(s). We will wait and see. Hopefully the company will reveal more details about Nokia C1 at the upcoming events, like CES 2016 in Las Vegas in January. It is still unknown whether the renders are authentic. Therefore, remain open for surprises. What are your expectations of the first smartphone of Nokia since its partial acquisition by Microsoft? Share with us.
