Yesterday the Chinese OEM Gionee hold a special launch event in one of the capitals of the tech world, Beijing. For the joy of all fans of the company, Gionee brought to the world two new smartphones, both of them much anticipated and impressive. Gionee Elife E8 arrives to take its place on the arena with high-end smartphones in the county, while the Gionee Marathon M5 will grab the interest of users who admire the long battery life of devices.

Gionee Elife E8 was spotted in different leaks and rumors in the last months. It is a large phablet with 6-inch AMOLED screen QHD and pixel density of 490ppi. The hardware that powers the plus-sized model has 8 cores with MediaTek Helio X10 chipset ticking at 2GHz. RAM-wise the flagship works with 3GB RAM. It boasts 64GB native memory. The graphics are managed by the PowerVR 6200 GPU.

If you like the specs of the Gionee Elife E8 until now, you will be even more impressed by the duo cameras integrated in the flagship. It comes with a 24MP sensor on the rear panel. Thanks to the innovative tech the camera is able to take photos with the fascinating resolution of 120p. It features phase detection autofocus that is able to focus in 0.08s to 0.2s. Gionee Elife E8 is running on Amigo 3.1 UI. This is the user interface of Gionee installed over Android 5.0 Lollipop. The battery of the flagship is with a capacity of 3500mAh. The 6-inched smartphone will be available in different colors. It is expected to go for sells in the middle of July. Elife E8 is equipped with a fingerprint sensor.
