Kyocera Torque G02 is the first smartphone in the world that can take pictures in salty water

The newest addition of the company Kyocera Torque G02 is resilient to sea water and not only this…. It survives and can snap photos in salty water. The smartphone is the first device with such capabilities. Kyocera introduced the handset in Japan. It is coming to the carrier KDDI. The Torque G02 is equipped with a 4.7-inch IGZO LCD screen, 720p.
It is powered by a CPU with four cores with Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chip ticking at 1.4GHz. The configuration consists of 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable internal memory. The main camera that will help you to snap really nice underwater photos is on the back. It is a 13MP sensor with LED flash. The smartphone is able to take photos thanks to a special capture mode that is triggered by a pressure sensor. On the front is provided a 5MP camera.
Kyocera Torque G02 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Among the other advantages of the unique device is support for LTE and VoLTE. It features also NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G and supports Qi wireless charging. It is packed with a 2910mAh battery in its gut. The new smartphone sports appealing design and comes in different colors – red, green and black. It has IPX5/IPX8 certificate and passes the US military procurement standards MIL-STD-810G. The price of the smartphone is not revealed yet. It is coming to markets in July.
