A new entry-level smartphone of the Korean manufacturer Samsung is getting one step closer to its official debut in the US. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy J1 mini with a model number SM-J105F was just spotted in the database of Bluetooth SIG. This means that the smartphone can be announced any day now.

The leak does not reveal a lot of details about the specs of the handset. Samsung Galaxy J1 mini is a low-end smartphone outfitted with a compact body. It sports a 4-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The processor provided in the device is with four cores and Spredtrum SC8830 chip clocked at 1.5GHz. It is coupled with 1GB RAM. The included amount of storage is only 8GB by default, but it can be expanded easily via microSD cards. The Galaxy J1 mini runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system.

The main camera of the budget smartphone is with a resolution of 5MP while the secondary camera is VGA. The upcoming phone supports dual-SIM. It is still unknown when Samsung will introduce the smartphone officially. It is certainly purposed for developing markets. The expectations suggest that it will cost around $50 off-contract. The compact device is the perfect smartphone for users who want a basic Android-running phone at an affordable price.
