Micromax Canvas Pace 4G is a new budget smartphone announced in India

The India-based OEM Micromax has just introduced a new affordable handset. Micromax Canvas Pace 4G is a 5-incher with a resolution of the display 854 x 480p. The pixel density of the screen is around 195.9ppi. It is powered by a quad-core CPU set at 1.1GHz with Qualcomm Snapdragon chip. The modest amount of RAM provided in the device is 1GB. Canvas Pace 4G arrives with 8GB native storage and a slot for microSD cards for expansion.

The entry-level smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is packed with a 5MP primary rear camera paired with a 2MP front-facing snapper. The battery that assures juice to the phone is with a capacity of 2500mAh. It keeps the smartphone working for up to 9 hours of talk time. In terms of connectivity capabilities, you probably have guessed that the Micromax Canvas Pace 4G supports 4G LTE Cat.4 along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3G. It is a dual-SIM device.

The new affordable handset costs Rs. 6821 (around $98) retail price. The company is selling the smartphone via its official website. It is also available at eBay India. The color option for the entry-level smartphone is black. It is getting launched in India, no word whether the new member of the Canvas line will land on other markets as well.
