LG Gentle is new Android-powered flip phone
It has been awhile since we shared news for a new flip phone on the market. LG Gentle is a new clamshell handset powered by Android. It doesn’t shine with high-end specs but it will satisfy the expectations of basic Android users who fancy flip phones. The screen of LG Gentle is with 3.2-inches diagonal and 480 x 320p resolution. The hardware tucked inside the clamshell phone includes a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.1GHz coupled with1GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 chip. The hardware configuration includes also Adreno 304 GPU. LG Gentle is outfitted with 4GB storage that can be expanded via microSD cards. The platform pre-installed and ready-to-use on the smartphone is Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The new flip phone features a 3MP snapper on the rear side. On the front panel is integrated a 0.3MP secondary camera. The handset boasts a big physical keyboard. One of the special features about it is the Q button that brings up the apps you have selected as your favorite. The battery that powers the clamshell device is with a capacity of 1700mAh. The model supports 4G LTE connectivity. The release date of LG Gentle is scheduled for 29th of July in South Korea.
