Apple Watch goes official, getting released in April

Apple presented three versions of the Apple Watch

Apple hosted the Spring Forward event on 9th of March and as expected the company introduced the Apple Watch – all three versions of it.

The Apple Watch is outfitted with a stainless steel corpus. It is offered with different options for bands that determine its price. The 38mm version of the timepiece costs $549 – $1049 while the 42mm model will be available for $599 – $1099.

Apple Watch Sport is the smartwatch from the trio that boasts a body made of special aluminum allow. Apple revealed that it is 60% tougher than the most widely used alloys for watches. Just like its sibling the Apple Watch Sport has 38mm and 42mm versions. The 38mm costs $349. The 42mm will be offered by retailers for $399.

Last but not least Apple revealed the Apple Watch Edition. It is the most premium from the group. The smartwatch has a body made of 18K gold. As expected the price for the device will be high. The 38mm will be offered for $10000 while the 42mm will be sold for $12000. You have probably guessed already that the smartwatch is manufactured in limited edition. It will be available to buy from selected Apple stores exclusively.

The first smartwatch of Apple is coming to markets on 10th of April. It will be introduced to different markets worldwide, including Hong Kong, China, Australia, Canada, the US, the UK, Japan, France, and Germany etc. In terms of specs the company was not generous on revealing much information yet. The storage in the smartwatch is 8GB. It enables users to listen to music and look through their photos without syncing the iPhone with it. Back in September when Apple presented the Apple Watch we learned that it comes with rectangular screen AMOLED bendable panel, 38mm or 42mm diagonal. It is powered by Watch OS which is an especially developed platform for the model. The device supports Siri virtual assistant. In terms of provided sensors, the Apple Watch comes with an infra-red, visible-light LEDs, as well as photo sensors that monitor user’s pulse rate.
