Motorola and Verizon Announced the DROID Turbo 2 Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Are you excited for the new episode of the Star Wars saga? Verizon and Motorola launched a special edition of the Motorola DROID Turbo 2 smartphone inspired by Star Wars. It is named DROID Turbo 2 Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It is already available for purchase through the Moto Maker tool for customization. Some of the possibilities for enriching the appearance of the handset include backplates based on Kylo Ren, Rey, BB-8, Poe Dameron and a First Order Stormtrooper.
Users can choose different color schemes for the shells of the smartphones. Verizon will release a special app on Google Play store with wallpapers inspired by different Star Wars characters. Motorola DROID Turbo 2 is among the newest additions of the company. It boasts a 5.4-inch AMOLED screen, QHD resolution. The display is shatterproof which protects it against drops and tumbles. Under the hood the smartphone is outfitted with octa-core silicon with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chip. Software-wise, the device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
It has a 21MP camera on the rear panel with dual-LED dual tone flash, autofocus, phase detection. On the front side is provided a 5MP snapper with LED flash. It works with 3760mAh battery. The battery has capabilities to keep the phone working for up to 48 hours in normal use. The smartphone works with 3GB RAM. Customers can choose between two variants of the DROID Turbo 2, wither with 32GB or 64GB storage. The handset supports microSD cards. The smartphone sports a slick design. The Star Wars edition stands-out with its themed chassis.
