The upcoming device is the second flagship of Sony for this year after the company introduced Sony Xperia Z4 in spring. Sony Xperia Z5 is coming with 23MP camera sensor

The camera module equipped in the Sony Xperia Z5 is one of its advantages before the competition and the current flagships of Sony. The smartphone is coming with a 23MP main snapper on the rear panel with 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS instead of the 20.7MP camera that Sony is integrating in all the flagships since Sony Xperia Z1. The new leak reveals also several color variants that will be available for the smartphone, including white, gold and dark turquoise. The rest of the specs that we know from leaks about the device include a 5.2-inch 1080p screen (might be 1440 x 2560p). It works with octa-core CPU with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chip and either 3GB or 4GB RAM.

Sony Xperia Z5 will debut at IFA 2015

The rumor mills recently delivered a leak from the Sony Georgia page that sheds more light on the devices that will be presented at IFA 2015. The group of newcomers includes Sony Xperia Z5 Compact packed with a 4.6-inch screen, the flagship Sony Xperia Z5 with 5.2-inch display and Sony Xperia Z5 Premium with a 5.5-inch display.
