US retailers began selling the selfie-oriented phablet Sony Xperia C5 Ultra
Sony Xperia C5 Ultra was officially unveiled this summer in Japan. The phablet stands-out with its front-facing camera and a decent package of specs. The latest news about the phone is that it already can be purchased in the US through local retailers.
The specs of the Xperia C5 Ultra include a 6-inch display with a resolution of 1080p. It works with octa-core silicon with MediaTek MT6752 chip ticking at 1.7GHz. The hardware configuration includes 2GB RAM. The phablet is outfitted with 16GB storage by default. Sony has added a slot for microSD cards for expansion. In terms of software, the large-sized smartphone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop pre-installed. The device will get the newest update of the Google’s OS, Android 6.0 Marshmallow soon. The duo of cameras is one of the special features of the Xperia C5 Ultra.
On the back of the phablet lies a 13MP camera with LED flash. The front-facing camera is a 13MP sensor as well with a LED flash for exceptional selfies. The 6-incher works with a 2930mAh battery in its gut. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G and 4G LTE are supported by the device. Two retailers are offering the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra. Amazon US is selling the single-SIM model for $329.99 off-contract. The merchant Expansys is offering the dual-SIM variation at a price of $319.99. In terms of colors, both retailers are offering the white phablet in stock at the moment.
