Sharp Presented the Disney Mobile Mid-Ranger with a Snapdragon 808 Chip

Sharp took the wraps off the mid-ranger Disney Mobile in Japan

Last fall the Japanese OEM, Sharp introduced the Disney-themed, Sharp Aquos Disney smartphone with unique design and abundance of features inspired by the popular characters and cartoons. The special edition of the Sharp Aquos smartphone is a popular device in Japan. Now, a few months later, Sharp and the carrier NTT DoCoMo are ready to release the Sharp Disney Mobile.

The smartphone follows the design language of the latest additions of the Aquos Crystal line. It features razor-thin side bezels and its own abundance of Disney-themed extras. It arrives packed in a water- and dust-proof case. Disney Mobile has the codename DM-01H. It is a 4.7-incher with LCD IGZO display with a resolution of 1080 pixels. The handset is part of the Lollipop family of Android. The primary camera of Disney Mobile is with a resolution of 13MP and LED flash. The secondary camera of the handset is located at the bottom front below the display.

The processor that powers the smartphone works with Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chip and 3GB RAM. It boasts 16GB of internal memory that can be expanded via microSD cards. Some of the Disney decorations include the Mickey Mouse head on the front side and the Disney castle on the back. It comes in Sparkle Blue and Sparkle Pink colors. The cell that powers the Disney Mobile is with a capacity of 2810mAh. Users of the new smartphone will enjoy the rich palette of Disney apps and themes. The launch date of the new handset is 29th of January. The price is yet to be announced.
