The new flagship Sharp AQUOS Crystal X will be released in Japan
The most recently announced smartphones unveiled by Sharp some months ago were the mid-ranger Sharp AQUOS Crystal and the more advanced AQUOS Crystal X. The first model was released in the US soon after it was officially unveiled. It was launched by Sprint and Boost Mobile in the country.
Its high-end sibling the Sharp AQUOS Crystal X is getting ready to hit the markets. Customers of SoftBank in Japan can pre-order it since 13th of December. The handset sports an impressive panel with very thin bezels and dimensions of 139 x 73 x 11mm. The screen of the new phone is 5.5-inch diagonal and a resolution of 1080p. The processor of AQUOS Crystal X is with four cores ticking at 2.3GHz with Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chip. 2GB RAM and 16GB native memory are also included in the configuration. The flagship is powered by Android 4.4 KitKat OS. It comes with a 13MP main camera on the back with LED flash. On the face side lies a 1.2MP camera purposed for video calls.
The new addition of the Japanese manufacturer works with a 2610mAh battery. Among the extra features of the handset are the Harman Kardon sound and VoLTE. The connectivity capabilities of the device include support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G, NFC and 4G LTE. Customers can choose amongst several color versions, like white, red and black. For now Sharp has not given clues that AQUOS Crystal X will be released internationally. We will wait and see. Would you buy the new flagship of Sharp?
