Xiaomi Mi 4c is officially introduced with a 5-inch display and hexa-core CPU
Xiaomi Mi 4c is officially revealed today. Sells begin on 23rd of September. The handset boasts a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 1080p. It is powered by a hexa-core CPU with 64-bit architecture and Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chip. The hardware configuration includes also Adreno 418 GPU. The Xiaomi Mi 4c arrives in two variants. One of the models is provided with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage while the second device is packed with 2GB RAM and 32GB of memory. The OS running on the new smartphone is Android Lollipop with MIUI 6 OS on top. Xiaomi will upgrade it to MIUI 7 OS really soon.
One of the most interesting pre-installed new features is the Edge Tap. It is a gesture control feature that responds to taps with different pressure. The rear camera provided in the Mi 4c is a 13MP sensor with autofocus PDAF and two-tone flash. It is coupled with a 5MP snapper lying on the front side enriched with a Beautify. The battery that gives juice to the device is with a capacity of 3080mAh. The handset supports Quick Charge 2.0 for fast charging. It is outfitted with a USB Type-C port. Among the extra features of Xiaomi Mi 4c is the IR blaster. Xiaomi reveals that it makes it easy to control over 2000 appliances, such as sSLR camera etc.
The connectivity capabilities of the new handset of Xiaomi include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G and 4G LTE. The available colors of the smartphone are blue, orange, black, white and pink. The model with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage costs RMB 1299 (around $204) off-contract. The variant outfitted with 3GB RAM/ 32GB internal memory will cost RMB 1499 (around $235). Anyone interested yet?
