Motorola Moto X Style enters the tech arena
The much anticipated event of Motorola did not disappoint the high expectations of the audience. Exactly the opposite – the company brought a nice surprise for its fans – three new smartphones instead of two. Along with the affordable Motorola Moto G (2015), the manufacturer introduced the new flagship Motorola Moto X Style and the impressive mid-ranger Motorola Moto X Play.
Motorola Moto X Style is the new star of Motorola. The flagship is packed with everything we expect to see in the next generation Moto X. It is a large device with 5.7-inch QHD screen. The chip that is integrated in the flagship is Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core CPU 1.8GHz paired with 3GB RAM. There are three models of the Moto X Style in terms of storage – 16GB, 32GB or 64GB. MicroSD slot is integrated as well.
The new flagship runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. On the back of the phablet is found one of the key features of the model – 21MP camera with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, Dual Core Correlated Temperature flash, 4K video etc. The secondary camera is also impressive with 5MP resolution and 87 degree wide-angle. There is a 3000mAh cell under the hood of Moto X Style. The design of the new flagship is improved compared to its predecessors. It sports slightly curved back and boasts textured silicon rubber back for more secure grip. The Moto Maker tool provides a great choice of customization options for users, including leather covers, backplates made from real wood etc.
The phablet supports a vast range of connectivity capabilities, including 4G LTE. Motorola is preparing Motorola Moto X Pure Edition that will be offered unlocked and provided with support for 4G LTE for the big carriers in the US where the model will be offered exclusively. The unlocked Moto X Style in the US will hit the markets in September at price of $399.
