The new additions to the Samsung Galaxy A series are official

Samsung is enriching its Galaxy A series with smartphones with three new devices. Samsung Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 debuted officially at a special event. They are expected to land on the markets in China later this month. The trio shares similar specs and capabilities. For instance, all three handsets sport premium-looking designs with metal bodies and razor-slim side bezels. The phones have support for magnetic strip card emulation of Samsung. They are outfitted with Super AMOLED screens.

Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) boasts a 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 720p. It is powered by a quad-core processor paired with 1.5GB RAM. The phone has 16GB storage out-of-the-box. It is expandable. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. The main camera of the handset is a rear 13MP sensor with 13MP resolution, LED flash and OIS. The secondary camera is with 5MP resolution. The battery of the new Galaxy A3 is a 2300mAh cell. The connectivity capabilities of the new smartphone include LTE Cat.4. It supports dual-SIM.

Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) is at the middle in terms of specs and size. It comes with a 5.2-inch display, 1080p resolution. The processor of the new device has eight cores working in a configuration with 2GB RAM. Storage-wise the Galaxy A5 is outfitted with 16GB expandable memory. The rear camera of the smartphone is a 13MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture and OIS. The secondary camera is provided with f/1.9 aperture similar to the cameras set-up in the flagship Samsung Galaxy S6. The battery of Galaxy A5 is with a capacity of 2900mAh. It has a fingerprint sensor on the back panel.

Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) stands-out with a 5.5-inch screen, 1080p resolution. There is an octa-core processor under the hood. It is paired with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. The battery equipped with the handset is a 3300mAh cell. Just like its siblings it is a dual-SIM device. The Galaxy A7 has a fingerprint sensor on the rear side and supports LTE Cat.6 connectivity.

The new smartphones of Samsung will be available for purchase later this month in China. The prices are not revealed yet.
