The new mid-ranged tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is launching in the US

A new model mid-ranged tablet of Samsung is making its official debut in the US. The company confirmed that Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is launching in the country on 28th of October. One of the interesting features about the slate is its built-in S Pen.

Samsung reveals that the stylus of Galaxy Tab A has more advanced pressure sensitivity which makes more convenient for the daily tasks of working on the tablet. Specs-wise, the new device sports a 10.1-inch screen with resolution 1200 x 1920 pixels.

The hardware configuration included in the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 consists of an octa-core processor with Exynos 7870 chipset. The tablet is coming with 3GB RAM. The standard options for the internal storage of the slate include either 16GB or 32GB with the present of a microSD cards. Let’s not forget the S Pen as part of the hardware as well.

The software running on the mid-ranger is Android 6.0 Marshmallow already pre-installed. On the back of the new Galaxy Tab A 10.1 is set an 8MP camera while on the front is found a 2MP camera. The battery of the device is with a capacity of 7300mAh. In terms of connectivity it is good to know that Samsung is releasing the Wi-Fi-only version of the tablet for now.

The price starts at $349.99. Black and white are the colors of choice. Anyone interested? The launching is scheduled for this Friday (28th of Oct).
