New leak with press images of Samsung Galaxy S6 Active surfaced on the internet

Last month the database of Bluetooth SIG revealed Samsung Galaxy S6 Active. It is rumored to be the rugged version of the flagship Galaxy S6. The leakster @evleaks posted render photos of the smartphone that gives us a glimpse on the back and the front sides of the upcoming device. Galaxy S6 Active sports extra-tough panel that makes it more durable to hits, scratches and drops. One of the improvements in the unannounced smartphone compared to the original flagship is the larger battery. Galaxy S6 Active is rumored to arrive with a 3500mAh cell under the hood.

The rest of the specs are the same as the features and capabilities of the Galaxy S6. The new model is outfitted with a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED screen with QHD resolution. It works with Exynos 7420 chip. The upcoming handset boasts a 16MP rear camera paired with a 5MP sensor on front. Recently the SM-G890A which is the model number of Galaxy S6 Active got its FCC certification. Yesterday the device was caught on camera in the wild in leaked photos. There is still no information about the debut date of the rugged smartphone. The expectations suggest that it is happening soon. Stay tuned.
