Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 is officially released in India
The mid-ranged phablet Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 was recently announced by the company and now it is ready to land on markets in India. The large-sized phone is already up-for-sales in Thailand and Malaysia. Galaxy Mega 2 is getting launched in the US as well. The carrier AT&T is selling the phablet for $149.99 subsidized price.
The costs for the SIM-free device are $474.99. Galaxy Mega 2 in India is offered for INR 20900 (around $341) available for purchase via the official website of Samsung in the country. The specs of the phablet include a 6-inch screen with a resolution of 720p. It is a fast smartphone with decent performance for a mid-ranger working with CPU clocked at 1.2GHz and 1.5GB RAM.
On the back of the device lies an 8MP camera while the snapper for video calls is with 5MP resolution. Galaxy Mega 2 boasts 8GB memory and a slot for microSD cards. The operating system that runs on the hardware of the phablet is Android 4.4 KitKat. It is provided with loads of connectivity capabilities – GPS, Wi-Fi, 3G and Bluetooth. The cell found in the gut of model is a 2800mAh battery. It is a dual-SIM phablet. Galaxy Mega 2 comes in white and black.
