The mid-ranger Samsung Galaxy J7 is spotted in the website of an online retailer
Samsung Galaxy J7 is one of the smartphones that the Korean manufacturer is getting ready to announce soon if the growing number of leaks and rumors about the device in the last weeks. It recently got its TENAA certification and Bluetooth SIG. Until we are waiting for Samsung to take the wraps off from the Galaxy J7 officially, a new leak sheds more light on its specs.
The source of the information comes from an online retailer in Kazakhstan. In fact, the merchant has already listed the handset for pre-orders at price of KZT 49990 (around $268). The mid-ranger is outfitted with a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 720p. It is rumored to run on Android Lollipop OS. The CPU is octa-core set at 1.2GHz or 1.4GHz with PXA1936 courtesy of Marvell. It is coupled with 1.5GB RAM and features 16GB native memory (earlier leaks suggested 4GB and 8GB for the storage in the model).
It packs two cameras – a 13MP sensor with LED flash and a secondary snapper on the front with 5MP. The battery of the smartphone is a 3000mAh cell according to earlier leaks. It supports Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity capabilities. Two color options will be available for the Galaxy J7 – white and black. The shipping of the unannounced mid-ranger is scheduled for August.
