There is something special about the flip-phone smartphones that just make them attractive even in the era of the miniature devices and phones. The new member of the clamshell handsets comes from Korea – the Samsung Galaxy Folder 2. The screen of the new model is 3.8-inches at diagonal with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. Hardware-wise the newcomer is outfitted with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz and paired with 2GB RAM. Users will enjoy the 16GB storage by default that can be expanded via microSD cards.

Galaxy Folder 2 is a stylish and appealing mid-ranger that suits the users that prefer the extraordinary handsets. The platform pre-installed on the flip-phone is Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.  It is customized with the interface of Samsung. It arrives with an 8MP main camera on the rear panel and a 5MP camera for selfies. The battery that powers the Galaxy Folder 2 is a 1950mAh cell. The official data for the devices claims that the battery can keep up the device for up to 318 hours in standby.

Connectivity and Launching

As expected, the new phone is LTE-enabled. It is just 160 grams heavy. Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 is a dual-SIM model. The design of the handset features a few dedicated buttons, such as End and Send. There is also a physical directional pad that makes the navigation really easy. The smartphone will be released in China. It is still uncertain whether the flip-phone will be launched worldwide yet.
