The first mid-ranger of Pepsi is officially unveiled, Pepsi Phone P1
Back in October we shared the rumors that the famous brand Pepsi known for its beverages is planning to release its own smartphone. The name of the phone is Pepsi Phone P1 known also as Pepsi P1. The company introduced the handset officially in China. In terms of specs the smartphone is a mid-ranger. In terms of price, the Pepsi Phone P1 is an affordable device. It sports a unibody panel made of aluminum. The device is manufactured by the company Shenzhen Scooby Communication Equipment.
The screen of the newcomer is with 5.5-inched diagonal and Full HD revolution. It boasts 2.5D glass on top. In the gut of the mid-ranger is integrated an octa-core processor with MediaTek MT6592 chip. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It is customized with Dido OS interface on top. The main camera of Pepsi Phone P1 is a rear sensor with 13MP resolution, 1/3.06-inch sensor and F/2.0 aperture. The front facing camera is a 5MP snapper. On the back side of the phone is provided a fingerprint sensor. The battery of Pepsi Phone P1 is a 3000mAh cell. It supports 4G LTE connectivity.
The phone is dual-SIM. The Chinese carrier China Unicom is releasing the smartphone under the name Pepsi Phone P1s. The colors available for the new smartphone are silver, gold and blue. It is up-for-grabs at jd.com. The current price of the handset is CNY 699 (around $110) for the first 1000 sold units. The regular price of the phone will be CNY 1299. In the package of Pepsi Phone P1 are included a USB cable, a protective cover and a charger.
