Panasonic Lumix CM1 is getting released in the States soon
The camera-phones are becoming more and more popular among mobile users. One of the most famous companies in the sphere of photography equipment, Panasonic last year introduced the impressive Panasonic Lumix CM1 known as “connected camera.” The camera-phone was unveiled in September 2014. The company showcased the device at CES 2015 in Las Vegas in the beginning of this year.
The waiting for the launching of the handset in the US is finally going to end. The Panasonic Lumix CM1 is available for pre-orders in the country at retail price of around $1000. Earlier this year it was released in some countries in Europe. The specs of the connected camera include a 4.7-inch screen with 1080p resolution. It is powered by quad-core silicon set at 2.3GHz with Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chip and 2GB RAM. There are 16GB storage included in the device. It supports microSD cards for adding memory.
Panasonic Lumix CM1 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat pre-installed. It is expected to get upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop in the near future. The most impressive feature of the camera-phone is its primary camera, of course. It is a 20MP snapper with 1-inch sensor, LED flash, autofocus and Leica optics. The camera can capture 4K video. On the front panel is located a camera for video calls with 1.1MP resolution. The battery of the Lumix CM1 is a 2600mAh cell. It is LTE-enabled device.
