Oppo 3000 goes official in China
Oppo presented a new mid-ranger in its home country – China. The smartphone is named Oppo 3000. The new handset will meet the expectations of users who are looking for a compact smartphone with capable software and hardware that won’t break their budget. Oppo 3000 comes with a 4.7-inch screen with a resolution of 720 pixels.
It is packed with a quad-core CPU 1.2GHz with Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chip with 64-bit. The phone is released with Android 4.4 KitKat running as a base to the authentic platform of Oppo, Color OS 2.01. The camera that lies on the rear panel of Oppo 3000 is with 8MP Sony IMX179 with five-element lens and f/2.0 aperture. On the face side of the handset is provided a 5MP camera with wide-angle In terms of storage, the smartphone boasts 8GB native memory (expandable) and 1GB RAM.
The hardware configuration includes Adreno 306 GPU for the graphics. The new addition of Oppo is powered by a 2000mAh battery. The Oppo 3000 is endowed with abundance of connectivity features including NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G and 4G LTE. It supports dual-SIM. Oppo offers the mid-ranger for CNY 1599 (equal to $256) contract-free. In terms of specs the Oppo 3000 is a rival to Xiaomi Redmi 2. However the price of the Oppo’s handset is higher than the costs for Redmi 2. We will wait and see whether the new mid-ranger will grab the interest of mobile users.
