A new variant of Oppo R5s goes official in Europe
A new variant of Oppo R5s is getting launched in Europe. The model is a slightly improved variant of the original device. Oppo R5s has a lot to offer to its users. For starter, it is one of the thinnest smartphones on the market today. The main improvement of the new handset is the provided RAM. The newly announced Oppo R5s is outfitted with 3GB RAM instead of 2GB RAM.
The rest of the specs and features are pretty much the same as the R5s presented last fall. It arrives with a 5.2-inch AMOLED FullHD glass. The smartphone is powered by octa-core CPU set at 1.5GHz with Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset. The phone does not support microSD cards, but the assured 32GB storage by default will probably be enough for storing pictures, music and apps. The original model was equipped with 16GB memory, so we have some improvement here as well.
The OS is a bit outdated – Android 4.4 KitKat with ColorOS 2.0. Oppo R5s has a 13MP primary camera on the rear side with a LED flash and aperture of f/2.0. The secondary snapper is with a 5MP resolution. The smartphone is powered by a 2000mAh cell. It supports Fast Charge Tech. In terms of connectivity the Oppo R5s supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G and 4G LTE. The new device can be purchased for €199 ($226) off-contract. Interested yet?
