Nokia Z Launcher Beta is released in Google Play Store

The first tablet of Nokia after a large part of the company was purchased by Microsoft is officially here. We shared the news for the announcement of the Nokia N1, the high-end 7.9-inched slate. The tablet sports a slick design and powerful hardware with the Android 5.0 Lollipop software running on it. One of the most interesting and extraordinary features in the device is the Z Launcher that is pre-installed and ready to use. Nokia presented the innovative Z Launcher beta this summer.

The main idea behind the app is to provide more convenient solutions for users that will replace the widely used in the currently available launchers usage of multiple home screens. As expected the Z Launcher consists of just one page. It includes certain combination of apps that is unique for each user and depends on his/her preferences and daily usage of applications. The launcher has the capability to predict what apps would be needed for certain parts of the day and display them on the screen. Users can take advantage from the unique possibility for launching an app by drawing a letter on the screen. It doesn’t matter how big the letter is or where in the display you scribble it, the launcher will present you with the list with apps beginning with that letter.

The new style of using apps might be a faster solution especially for tablets and large-sized phablets. Android users who are curious to try it on can download it from the Google Play Store. It is supposed to provide more fulfilling, customized and convenient user experience. It is free for download, so if you are using a smartphone or a tablet running on Android 4.1 and up don’t miss out to give it a try.
