The ultra affordable Amazon Fire tablet that costs $49.99 is now more attractive than ever. Amazon is adding more colors to the picture with a few new color options for the appealing slate. The Amazon Fire is now available in blue, magenta and tangerine which join the black model released in 2015.

Another nice surprise for the fans of the tablet is a new version with 16GB storage on board. This is double more storage than the regular version packed with 8GB. The new model costs $69.99 … so for just $20 bucks you are getting a lot more memory in the device. Amazon has good news for the youngest mobile users as well. The Amazon Fire Kids Edition is getting launched in a green kid-proof case and comes with 16GB built-in memory. The regular 8GB model costs $99.99 while the 16GB variation can be yours for $119.99.

Amazon Fire is getting released in a few more colors

The tablet is an entry-level device with a 7-inch IPS screen. It works with a quad-core CPU 1.3GHz. The storage can be expanded via microSD cards. The slate is provided with two cameras – one on the back and one on the front. The Amazon Fire tablet runs on Fire OS 5 Bellini, based on Android.
