Samsung is getting ready to release a 18.4-inch tablet, rumors say

What do you prefer – the big tablets or the 7-inchers? If the large-sized slates are of your taste, you’ll appreciate the news that Samsung seems to be working on a very big tablet. Rumors have it that a 18.4-inched slate with model number SM-T670 might be announced in the near future. The huge tablet should be a pretty useful device for schools and offices. Guys from SamMobile shared that the codename of the unannounced tablet is Tahoe.

It is powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. The screen of SM-T670 is TFT LCD with 1080p resolution and 18.4-inch diagonal. It is powered by Exynos 7580 chip with octa-core CPU 1.6GHz with 64-bit architecture. The tablet features 2GB RAM and 32GB internal memory. A slot for microSD cards is provided. The primary rear camera is with a resolution of 8MP. On the face side of the tablet is integrated a 2.1MP snapper.

The battery that powers the SM-T670 is with a capacity of 5700mAh. According to rumors the dimensions of the tablet are 11.9 x 275.8 x 451.8mm. There is still no word on launching, pricing or the official name of the 18.4-inch slate. Samsung is yet to confirm the SM-T670 existence of the slate, so before that you should take all the information with a grain of salt.
