The unannounced HTC Desire 626 gets certification from TENAA
The HTC Hima aka HTC One (M9) seems to be the most anticipated upcoming smartphone of the company. Along with rumors and leaks for the unannounced flagship the rumor mill reveals more details on other upcoming devices of the Taiwanese manufacturer, like the mid-ranger HTC Desire 626.
The tipster @upleaks recently posted some details for the handset that appears in leaks under the codename A32. Thanks to a new leak from the Chinese TENAA (similar to FCC) database we can share the full sheet of specs of the unannounced HTC Desire 626. The smartphone sports an elegant body that measures 146.9 x 70.9 x 8.19 mm and weighs 135 grams. It is equipped with a 5-inch screen, 720p resolution.
Under the hood of Desire 626 is integrated an octa-core silicon MediaTek, set at 1.7GHz and paired with 1GB RAM. The storage on board of the mid-ranger is expandable via microSD cards, 8GB by default. HTC Desire 626 is powered by Android 4.4 KitKat OS. In terms of cameras, the phone features a 13MP sensor on the rear panel. On the front side is found a 5MP camera appropriate for video calls and selfies. The battery that provides juice for the new member of the Desire line is with a capacity of 2000mAh. The smartphone supports a rich choice of connectivity capabilities, LTE included. The availability and the price of the Desire 626 are not revealed yet. The certification from TENAA gets the phone one step closer to the markets in China. The expectations for the price for the device suggest that it will fall into the affordable category.
