The HTC 10 is finally here, the #powerof10
The new flagship of HTC is officially here. It is named the HTC 10 and it is taking the flagship title from the HTC M9 released last year. The name of the new star of HTC is made of 1 and 0 which is read in binary and can mean “Two.” The HTC 10 has is it all – the looks, the #powerof10, the perfect size and the awesome 12MP UltraPixel primary camera. The One flagships of HTC have always been among the most impressive and attractive smartphones on the market, and the HTC 10 is not an exception.
The size of the Super LCD 5 display of the 10 is 5.2-inch with a resolution of 2560 x 1440p. It has the curved Corning Gorilla Glass on top. The processor that powers the flagship is Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 with 4GB RAM. Just like the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge of Samsung, the new phone arrives with a microSD slot on board that can be used for expansion of the 32GB or 64GB storage assured by default. The OS running on the HTC 10 is Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box customized with HTC Dense 8 UI. As I mentioned above, one of the biggest advantages of the new flagship is its primary 12MP UltraPixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, OIS and laser autofocus. The secondary camera for selfies is a 5MP snapper with f/1.8 aperture that delivers pretty decent performance. The smartphone is equipped with BoomSound audio with two-way speaker with its own amp.
The battery for the HTC 10 is with a capacity of 3000mAh. The model supports Quick Charge 3.0. The home button on the front panel doubles as a fingerprint sensor. Connectivity-wise, the flagship supports all the connectivity features that can be expected by a flagship, meaning Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, LTE, NFC and Type C. The color options of the HTC 10 include Glacier Silver, Camellia Red, Topaz Gold and Carbon Gray. The 32GB variant costs $699 unlocked while the 64GB model will be available for $799.
